Introduction

FFSA runs a wide range of campaigns to promote divestment from fossil fuels and reinvestment in sustainable alternatives. We lobby for universities and city authorities, as leading social institutions, to divest; our Invest Fossil Free campaign lobbies asset managers to provide ethical and sustainable investment funds; we challenge the legitimacy of fossil fuel advertising and greenwashing, which give the industry a social licence, and we create a host of resources to empower journalists and citizens with the knowledge they need to act responsibly on climate and human rights issues.
